Yankee Clipper Council is looking for a few outstanding Scouts who have their eyes set on achieving the pinnacle recognition in the Scouting program – The Eagle Scout Award.
If you will be 13 years old and at least First Class rank by June 1st, 3013, and if you think you have what it takes to be a leader of others, a recognized goal achiever, and a member of an elite group of American men – Eagle Scouts – consider attending this special program.

The program will not be a Merit Badge factory, but a highly motivated Scout will be able to earn up to four required Merit Badges as well as participate in several relevant seminars presented by Council Leaders. Our goal is to assist each Scout in his quest for Eagle, but also give him an understanding of the rich traditions and meaning of an award with which he will be associated for his lifetime.

THE STAFF: Eagle Scout Matt Jezierski, who has served as Camp Director at both Lone Tree and Camp Onway, and as caretaker at Wah-Tut-Ca Scout Reservation, will be this year's Trail to Eagle Scoutmaster and will be assisted by an adult staff of outstanding role models, including members of the National Eagle Scout Association and the Council Advancement Committee.

Merit Badges to be Offered

Several of these Merit Badges will have additional work to do before and/or after Eagle Week in order to complete them. For example, for Personal Management a Scout must monitor an approved budget for 13 weeks. We plan on having both a pre- and post-camp meetings to help Scouts complete all requirements.
